- Family Tree version 2.27
-
- This is the new version of Family Tree, a genealogy program for Atari
- 680x0 computers. If you have not used Family Tree before please read the
- instructions, at least the first few chapters, since it is not all as
- obvious as it may seem.
-
- If you have a hard disc, run install.prg to install it. On a floppy based
- system you can run it straight from this disc, or better still a backup of
- it.
-
- Files on this disc:
-
- install.prg Copies the program to the hard disc.
-
- gen.prg The program itself
- gen.rsc Resource file for ST high, Falcon and TT modes
- gen_8x8.rsc Resource file for ST medium resolution
- fam_tree.hyp Online help
- fam_tree.ref Online help - both files are required
-
- readme.227 This readme file
- versions Revision history
- manual/fam_tree.txt The manual as an ascii text file
- st-guide.acc Help accessory. Hard disc users should put this
- in the root directory of their boot disc with
- other desk accessories
- st-guide.inf Configuration file for ST-guide
- st-guide.hyp Online help for ST-guide itself
- st-guide.ref Online help for ST-guide - both files are required
-
- Separately available :
-
- manual/fam_tree.pap The manual in Papyrus format. If you don't have the
- fonts we used, American Garamond should be replaced
- by a serif text font such as Dutch, and Courier by
- a monospaced font such as Monospace 821.
- Unfortunately this would not fit onto the main disc
- without using a non-standard format.
-
- This program is freeware. You may distribute it freely, and we do not want
- money for it, the only restriction being that it should be distributed
- complete and unaltered - translation is allowed. Public domain libraries
- and bulletin boards may of course charge their normal distibution fees.
-
- The ST-guide help accessory is fairware, written by Holger Weets
- (Holger_Weets@ol.maus.de).
